10 Oct La Red de Ciudades AVE refuerza su presencia en Estados Unidos en unas Jornadas Directas organizadas por Turismo Andaluz

Ave Cities Network presents these days in New York, its destinations and tourism products (Avexperience and Renfe Spain Pass) in a Direct Journeys organized by Turismo Andaluz (from 10th to 13th October). This promotion is part of the Network Action Plan for 2017 in the international framework that will allow the association to hold meetings with tour operators, specialized agencies in different segments (MICE, travel, congresses and incentives …) as well as participate in different workshops, presentations, breakfasts and work lunches with specialized media and airlines. Among the guests invited to this Direct Conference in USA of Andalusian Tourism are the YTB (Young Travel Professionals), Delta Airlines, Ensemble, Signatures and Travel Savers, among others.

With this action, the Network will be able to know, first hand, the demands of the North American market, one of the most important for the association. In fact, it is the Americans who buy a greater number of Renfe Spain Pass bonds when they visit our country.

The participation in these Direct Journeys  in USA by the Network are added, a fall in international key, after being part of the Direct Journeys in India with Turespaña recently celebrated (3rd-6th October) that facilitated the opening of market to this association of destinations in New Delhi, Chennai and Ahmed Abad. At the end of this month, the Network plans to travel to Colombia to participate in other Conferences, organized by the airline Avianca and, at the beginning of November, will attend the Global European Marketplace (GEM 2017) event of ETOA (European Tourism Association), which will be held in London. A senior, last week, the association was promoting its products and destinations in Bilbao, in a Workshop of the CEAV (Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies).

The Network also continues to bet on promotional trips through fam, press and blogguer trips. Last week, a group of 5 Mexican journalists visited several cities of the Network in a press trip organized together with Turespaña and OET (Office of Tourism Abroad) of Mexico. Another press trip is planned in collaboration with the OTS of Mumbai (17th-23rd October); a blogger trip with the OTS of London (25th-30th October); a fam trip with the Cultural Voucher tour operator (November 5th-10th) and another press trip with the Chicago OTS (November 15th-21st).

AVE Cities Network

AVE Cities Network is the association of tourist destinations in Spain connected by the High Speed ​​that was born with the aim of promoting the cities that integrate it under a common strategy, as well as its Renfe Spain Pass and Avexperience products. AVE Cities Network is currently chaired by Seville and consists of the cities of Albacete, Alicante, Antequera, Barcelona, ​​Calatayud, Ciudad Real, Cordoba, Cuenca, León, Lleida, Madrid, Malaga, Ourense, Palencia, Puertollano, Segovia, Seville, Tarragona, Toledo, Valencia, Valladolid, Villanueva de Córdoba, Villena, Zamora and Zaragoza, which are full members, as well as Elche, Granada, Murcia and Talavera de la Reina as adhered cities.

To facilitate the trip to tourists visiting Spain and coming from other countries, Renfe articulates the Renfe Spain Pass service, linked in a special way to the Network. A new way of traveling that facilitates the movement, with flexibility, being able to know several destinations of the Network in the same getaway. You can choose as many trips as you want (4, 6, 8 or 10) and buy them up to 6 months in advance. Renfe Spain Pass is available in two categories (Tourist and Business) and for two age groups (children and adults); includes all AVE trains as well as long and medium distance trains. Places are reserved through the Internet, travel agencies or stations.
