Ave Cities Network celebrated today in Madrid, one of its member cities, its first technical meeting of this 2017. The meeting took place in the Royal Hall of Casa de la Panadería and was attended by councilors, directors of Tourism and technicians of the member cities of this Network.

During this meeting, the members of the different destinations analyzed the actions planned for this year with the objective of maintaining its national projection and strengthening the international one. Precisely the Network will be present the main fairs of the tourist market as the Travel Week of Sao Paulo; The Etoa City Fair, Gem Etoa and WTM all in London and IBTM World in Barcelona. In recent days he participated in the ITB Berlin and in January was promoted in FITUR.

In the national market, it will attend the B-Travel trade shows in Barcelona and Intur Valladolid.

As every year, the Network will participate in different Working Days with Turespaña focusing on the United States, China, Russia and rest of Europe. With Turismo Andaluz it will attend a specialized conference in Tokyo and Yokohama; with Turismo de Sevilla will be part of a direct action in the USA and will participate in a Latin American Forum with 300 travel agents scheduled for next fall.

In the chapter of actions to be developed together with OETS (Offices of Tourism Abroad), the Network will be promoted in a roadshow with the OTS of Mexico by Panama and Guatemala and will carry out direct marketing online in Italy and France.

In addition to these actions, the tourist association will organize fam and press trips with tour operators and journalists to bring their proposals closer to other markets such as Mexican, American, London, Indian or Chinese. To this are added the collaboration agreements with other transport operators such as Iberia, in addition to Renfe and the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies.

In the national communication chapter, the Network has launched several advertising and marketing campaigns with Logitravel and Renfe Viajes as well as carrying out an outdoor advertising campaign with signage at its destinations and at train stations.

AVE Cities Network

AVE Cities Network is the association of tourist destinations in Spain connected by the High Speed ​​that was born with the aim of promoting the cities that integrate it under a common strategy, as well as its Renfe Spain Pass and Avexperience products. The AVE Cities Network is currently chaired by Seville and is made up of the cities of Albacete, Alicante, Antequera, Barcelona, ​​Calatayud, Ciudad Real, Cordoba, Cuenca, León, Lleida, Madrid, Malaga, Ourense, Palencia, Puertollano, Segovia, Seville, Tarragona, Toledo, Valencia, Valladolid, Villanueva de Córdoba, Villena, Zamora and Zaragoza, which are full members, as well as Elche, Granada, Murcia and Talavera de la Reina as adhered cities.
