Ave Cities Network celebrated today in Malaga, one of its member cities, its second technical meeting this year. The meeting, which took place in the Center Collection of the Russian Museum, was attended by the mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre Prados, who was in charge of welcoming the attendees. Councilors, tourism managers and technicians of the member cities did balance of the actions carried out during the year, analyzed the remaining projects and progressed the strategy planned for 2018.

The Network is consolidated in the international market after participating in the most important tourism fairs in the world such as Travel Week in Sao Paulo, Etoa City Fair, Gem Etoa, IBTM World in Barcelona, ​​ITB in Berlin, BTL in Lisbon, FITUR in Madrid or the B-Travel in Barcelona. In the coming months he will attend Asia’s Leading Travel, WTM of London and ITBM of Barcelona. To this is added the promotion with Turespaña, Tourism of Seville, Andalusian Tourism and different OET’S (Offices of Tourism abroad) that has led to the association to be present not only in the national market but also in the international like China or Latin America.

In October and November will be part, together with Turespaña, a direct conference in India, will travel to USA with Turismo Andaluz to participate in a business conference and will go to others in Colombia to organize the airline Avianca. He will also be present at a workshop in Bilbao with Ceav (Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies) and with Etoa (European Tourism Association) will attend the Global European Marketplace (GEM 2017) in London. In addition, the Network will organize several press, fam and blogger trips in collaboration with OET’S of Mexico, Mumbai, London and Chicago, among others. To this are added the collaboration agreements with other transport operators such as Iberia, in addition to Renfe and with the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies and Etoa.

In the national communication chapter, the Network has launched several advertising and marketing campaigns with Logitravel and Renfe Viajes as well as carrying out an outdoor advertising campaign with signage at its destinations and at train stations.
