25/10/2017. AVE Cities Network promotes its Avexperience and Renfe Spain Pass products, in addition to its  destinations, at  ITB Asia fair, from 25th to 27th October. The association participates, with its own counter in the pavilion of Turespaña, in one of the most important tourist events at international level and, at the moment, the leading trade fair in Asia, which will allow it to reinforce its presence in a particularly interesting market, taking into account that the number of tourists of that continent does not increase more than every year, in our country.

During this fair, the association will hold meetings with leading agents from that continent such as Dolores Travel Services, Anta Express Tour and Travel, Global Center, Tripstery and Tuniu, among others, which will allow the Network to present its alternative to travel Spain with Avexperience and Renfe Spain Pass.

ITB Asia is the leading travel industry fair on the continent. It is a luxury showcase for professionals to promote its proposals and sign new contracts. This year the fair will have many new features, as the organization points out in its website: for the first time, ITB Asia will host the Visitors Office and Rio de Janeiro Convention, the Moscow City Government, Promote Iceland, as well as a Pavilion African, among others.

There is a substantial increase in the number of exhibitors from South Africa (200%), Russia (183%) and Brazil (100%). China also grows 31% this year with Ctrip, Wuzhen Tourism, Hua Min Tourism and Reserve or Shanghai’s Toptown International Travel Agency.

Tunisia and Rwanda will make their debut this year, joining the Kenya Tourism Board and other African exhibitors from Tanzania, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia and Sudan.

International Promotion

In addition to the promotion at ITB Asia, this fall, Ave Cities Network plans to participate in other international fairs such as WTM London, ETOA City Fair and GEM ETOA in London or IBTM World in Barcelona, ​​among others.

So far this year, the network has strengthened its international profile in the USA, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, China and, at European level, the United Kingdom, France and Italy are focusing.

AVE Cities Network

AVE Cities Network is the association of tourist destinations in Spain connected by the High Speed ​​that was born with the aim of promoting the cities that integrate it under a common strategy, as well as its Renfe Spain Pass and Avexperience products. AVE Cities Network is currently chaired by Seville and consists of the cities of Albacete, Alicante, Antequera, Barcelona, ​​Calatayud, Ciudad Real, Cordoba, Cuenca, León, Lleida, Madrid, Malaga, Ourense, Palencia, Puertollano, Segovia, Seville, Tarragona, Toledo, Valencia, Valladolid, Villanueva de Córdoba, Villena, Zamora and Zaragoza, which are full members, as well as Elche, Granada, Murcia and Talavera de la Reina as adhered cities.

To facilitate the trip to tourists visiting Spain and coming from other countries, Renfe articulates the Renfe Spain Pass service, linked in a special way to the Network. A new way of traveling that facilitates the movement, with flexibility, being able to know several destinations of the Network in the same getaway. You can choose as many trips as you want (4, 6, 8 or 10) and buy them up to 6 months in advance. Renfe Spain Pass is available in two categories (Tourist and Business) and for two age groups (children and adults); includes all AVE trains as well as long and medium distance trains. Places are reserved through the Internet, travel agencies or stations.
