One more year, AVE Cities Network is present at the Berlin International Tourism Fair (ITB), to promote its products Avexperience and Renfe Spain Pass, as well as the main tourist attractions of its 29 destinations. From 8th to 12th March, the association participates, with its own counter in the pavilion of Turespaña, in Berlin in one of the most relevant international fairs in the tourism sector. The main objective of the Network in German capital is to promote itself abroad, focusing mainly on Germany, a country that is especially interested considering that it is one of the most important emitters of tourism for Spain.
During this fair, attended by the president of the Network and Mayor of Seville, Juan Espadas, the association will hold meetings with leading international tour operators such as Bryan IN. TrenEuropa Korea, Tss Group, Martinengo & Partners Communication, Pamela Poth Poth Lwin. Asian Tour Co., Le Hotels and Amigo Group. Today this association will participate at the ITB Speed Networking Event, an important business meeting, in which participants will exchange present and future projects and close agreements.
The ITB is the leading trade fair for the tourism industry worldwide and a great opportunity for professionals to reach important commercial contracts and know, first hand, the latest trends and innovations in the sector. At the visitor level it is also a good way to find out about the tourist and international leisure possibilities.
International Promotion
Beyond participation in the ITB Berlin, this year, Ave Cities Network will be promoted in other prominent fairs of the sector such as WTM London, ETOA City Fair and GEM ETOA in London or IBTM World in Barcelona, among others.
It will also be promoted at major Spanish fairs. In addition to FITUR, where it was present last January, the Network will attend the B-Travel of Barcelona or Intur Valladolid, among others. And it will continue with its advertising campaign with Logitravel and with the outdoor advertising campaign in its destinations and in train stations.
In its international projection, this year’s association focuses its efforts on markets such as the USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, China or the United Arab Emirates and, at European level, seeks to strengthen its presence in United Kingdom, Ireland, France or Italy.
AVE Cities Network
AVE Cities Network is the association of tourist destinations in Spain connected by the High Speed Train that was born with the aim of promoting the cities that integrate it under a common strategy, as well as its Renfe Spain Pass and Avexperience products. AVE Cities Network is currently chaired by Seville and is made up of the cities of Albacete, Alicante, Antequera, Barcelona, Calatayud, Ciudad Real, Cordoba, Cuenca, León, Lleida, Madrid, Malaga, Ourense, Palencia, Puertollano, Segovia, Seville, Tarragona, Toledo, Valencia, Valladolid, Villanueva de Córdoba, Villena, Zamora and Zaragoza, which are full members, as well as Elche, Granada, Murcia and Talavera de la Reina as adhered cities.
To facilitate the trip to tourists visiting Spain and coming from other countries, Renfe articulates the Renfe Spain Pass service, linked in a special way to the Network.
